There are many scientific discoveries, artistic creations and cultural milestones, some of which are the result of deaf people’s hard work. Indeed, quite a good number of deaf people have dedicated their lives to the meaningful causes of inventing things for others. “We Hear You” has been publishing articles for 10 years to introduce you to prominent people, their journey into deafness and the lessons they’ve learnt from it. Hence, we’ve decided to gather our pieces in a “deaf” encyclopedia for you to use as a reference page and a source of information. This is the first project of its kind in Bulgaria that’s written in Bulgarian language and is dedicated to deaf people from around the world.

Dear readers of "We hear you", today we are introducing you to our guest who is a teacher, expert of traditional Bulgarian dance folklore. He teaches dance classes both in Bulgaria and abroad. He’s a former solo dancer at the Folklore Ensemble "Trakia" (1995), as well as the author of a number of dance stage performances carried out by various professional and amateur folk ensembles. He’s a graduate of the National School of Dance Arts Sofia and the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts Plovdiv. He’s been the head of Choreography Department at the former university since 2011. He’s been teaching choreographic composition in Belgrade (Serbia). He is the author of a number of scientific works on Bulgarian stage and traditional dance folklore. He judges a number of Bulgarian as well as international dance contests and festivals. We are discussing about the magic of dance, the correlation between rhythm and the sense of rhythm in deaf people. Dear readers, meet Prof. Dr. Anton Andonov!

The specialized website We Hear You marked its 10^th anniversary with a joint exhibition of deaf artists held at the spacious hall of Contrast Gallery. It was an unforgettable event with so many guests, beautiful words, exquisite artworks, sincere love and plenty of light. Every pretty fairytale needs a proper telling from its very start. This is why today I’m taking you on a detailed journey throughout the event with this piece of writing. This is for all the people who were unable to attend the anniversary personally. Enjoy!
